I have not taken any form of chemical stimulant since January. My resting heart rate has dropped 5 beats per minute on average, and my working heart rate while riding has decreased about 15 beats per minute from around 160 to 145. It takes a long time to get my body to get to the point where it is ready to hit it hard. Wattage has increased a little with the lower heart rate.
