5000m row @ 2:00 pace
(finished in 19:18)
Pacing and form helped me keep a calm and steady pace. This is only the second time I have ever been on the rower for more then 10 minutes. It is a great change of pace of worn and sore legs. I was more effecient in my pulling stroke which lead to a face pace using less energy. Overall, it was a great test both mental and physically...afterall I am one piece. Both mind and body are connected and workouts that push both systems to work together seem like a much better idea when hoping to train to be better at being a human.
